   The moon was purple one night. No one on earth knew why. Unbeknownst to them it had caught a cosmic flu that would last millions of years. The moon was slowly getting healthier, back to its normal colour, but by then it wouldn't be normal to anyone but it, because the people on earth didn't remember it.
