Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters,
Today, as we gather here, I stand before you to highlight the common values shared between Judaism and Islam. In both faiths, compassion, mercy, and justice are emphasized. We are reminded to show kindness and empathy to others, regardless of their backgrounds.
The pursuit of knowledge and wisdom is also cherished in Judaism and Islam. Both traditions encourage us to seek education and understand the world around us.
