When intros came out for more advanced games it was like you forgot you were going to play a game and got deep into it as if it was a film.
It made me want to be more of a 3D game modeler than doing animation.
but then prefigures came out. Like Poser Pro. which made it easier for game designers to have an off-the-shelf character that they just needed to manipulate the adjuster settings rather than hire someone to create human figures or others. then convert them into the native program language
I was never good at modeling organics. I had fun with buildings and love architecture anyways.
I wish I stuck with it. I see all of these older fascinating designs in the Berkeley area. trying to learn the different brand styles but when talking to an architect they don't like to do that. it's A frame this or this style as a base design and then go from there. so they don't like a catalog of former designers. they don't like mass stamped houses. how do they even make money if each home isn't unique? Fucking Sub Divisions are the Ugliest fucking things. track housings are ugly when you have 4-8 designs to choose from. where I grew up you had houses from the mid-1800s to 1960s or 70s of a boxy Apartment. unique that nothing is the same. move to the suburbs, had a new house but no charm. no mature trees. asshole neighbors
