I was out at a family function the other day and my niece wanted to play with me and i wanted to play with her. But stop right there criminal scum this isn't pedo literotica. It was a good thing the venue had a playground, even though 3yo's are easily entertained. It was pretty convenient since we weren't supposed to smoke anywhere close to the venue, but the playground was in a big meadow area, i figured fuck that noise i need a smoke. So i went with my niece to the playground, and i lit a cig.
Yes i know i was smoking around children, the humanity. They didn't seem to mind, and if the staff did they could fucking come over and tell me in person. Anyway, there was a little blonde girl playing at the playground and my niece soon made friends with her. this blonde girl is like 7 i know because i asked. And she was very careful with my niece, who as i said is three, it was all very cute.
Anyway fast forward a bit and my brother in law comes to pick up his daughter, but i lit another cig in the mean time so i told him i'd be right back. So now i was alone on the playground, with this little blonde girl, her name is Lisa, i know because i asked. She was very eager to tell me all about her life and why she was there with her family and it was all very cute. This went on for a while, until dinner time.
I should tell you a little bit about the venue. It's like a restaurant in some nature area, and it has a big ass terrace where all the guests generally eat and hang out. It overlooks the meadow where there is a playground. Good stuff. In any case i am pretty sure Lisa's dad was perturbed by the length and enthusiasm his daughter had conversing with me, because i assume she got a stern talking to about stranger danger during dinner, that must have been awkward, lol. Nevertheless after dinner, i was having my after dinner smoke obviously at the playground, and Lisa came up to me and started the conversation right back up. She was very sweet. Five minutes later some angry gestures in the distance caused her to say sorry i gotta go. I kinda felt bad for her.
But then i felt annoyed at her dad. he was well within his right to recall his daughter like that, but if you have to start the stranger danger conversation right as it is happening(She was never in any danger, lets be real here) then it's really all your fault now isn't it.
Also, for real in this case i guess it was justified, but what if i was just some normal guy, that would have been rude.
Anyway dinner was great met a sweet girl, my niece made a friend, and i got to play with the both of them. All things considered it was on balance a good day.
