Why do people say Trump lies?

2021-01-18 at 9:36 PM UTCI don't understand. he gets numbers wrong but I don't think he has ever outright lied about anything. Is it the same thing? It would be like calling a student a liar because he got a question wrong on a test.. it's not a lie, he was incorrect.
Those are completely different things. Being incorrect about something doesn't automatically mean you're lying. That's what I don't get.

20,000 lies? Really? Does anyone actually seriously believe that?. I'm sure if you transcribed every word a person says in a week and counted anything incorrect as a lie the number would look like that.
Also isn't it a lie to say he lied 20,000 times when everyone knows that's impossible.
If you look at the definitions of "lie" and "incorrect" I don't think Trump has ever lied going by those, but he is wrong a lot.
Incorrect-
"not in accordance with fact; wrong.
"the doctor gave you incorrect advice"
"Lie-
"an intentionally false statement."
How is this a lie? A lie would be saying he had a stake in it when he actually didn't have one, or saying he got into a fist fight with tiger woods. Getting a number wrong isn't lying, it's just incorrect.
"Highest taxed nation in the world" How is that a lie? It's an exaggeration. He obviously wasn't speaking literally.
it's like a cry wolf situation where everyone freaks out that Trump gets a number slightly wrong but will anyone even care when a real liar gets exposed? I think people are tired of hearing OH HE SAID 600 BILLION LIES BEFORE LUNCH OMG!!!, I know I am.

For example, he said that the Syrian army attacked its own people before firing missiles at them, when he knew all along it was a false flag perpetrated by John McCain and Co.. He also knew full well the attack on the oil tanker was not the Iranians, and yet he went on national television to say it was them. He also claimed Soleimani was about to carry out an attack on the US before executing him with a drone, but he already knew that was not true. That's just a few examples of him lying. There are many more. He has no problem lying to get what he wants.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

most of those are a result of him being fed lies by the various intelligence services; we've seen that whenever he questions their reports, regardless of how outlandish, the media attacks him for 'not trusting patriots'. -

This is just a small sample of his lies. Anyone claiming otherwise is obviously full of shit. -
