Dominion, "Hammer" and "Scorecard"

2020-11-07 at 11:03 PM UTCI'm not convinced of the voter fraud allegations, but I am open to the idea. I'd say I'm harboring a healthy skepticism of both sides of this argument. I'm not as technologically inclined as (m)any of the users on this subforum, so I thought I'd reach out to you T&T nerds with some questions about this shit:
https://twitter.com/We_Have_Risen/status/1325129915709104129
Is any of this relevant or meaningful in anyway? I have a feeling it's a huge nothingburger, but I come to you seeking a layman's explanation for the various things that are being pointed to in that Twitter thread. I'm almost certain there's nothing completely damning here and it's not a nail in anybody's coffin, but is it even suspicious? What does any of it mean? Thanks. I'm an idiot. Please don't shoot me. -
2020-11-07 at 11:06 PM UTCLooks like bullshit.
Mods can close this thread now -
2020-11-07 at 11:09 PM UTCAlso any insights into the supposed "Hammer" and "Scorecard" programs would be appreciated. As far as I understand it they're some CIA bullshit designed for influencing elections in other countries? This is entirely plausible - it definitely sounds like the CIA's usual shtick - but googling it doesn't really come up with much other than youtube videos and biased news articles pertaining to this election. Would be interested if any of you have any input about these things from a time before this stupid election.

2020-11-07 at 11:11 PM UTCAlso on a related note, discussion about Benford's Law and its uses in determining election fraud (and whether or not any examples from this election are using valid methodology).
So basically: this thread is intended as a general discussion of the more technical and mathematical arguments for/against this election. -
2020-11-07 at 11:19 PM UTCfrom what I gather dominion voting is one of the companies that manages election infrastructure and the twitter in OP has run a bunch of vulnerability scanners against their website.

I'm not going to go through the whole thing but it's obvious the guy doesn't really know what he's doing; most of the screencaps are just pretty graphs and/or effectively mean nothing.
I have no doubt that the systems are insecure and/or they violate their own guidelines, but that guy proves nothing.
Like I said before, election infrastructure should all be open source because it's the only way to ensure transparency -

This is an article about the company "Election Systems & Software", not "Dominion Voting Systems". -

2020-11-15 at 9:53 PM UTCAgain, I dont care for either of them but if we allow "Do anything to get trump out of office" by pretending this wasn't stolen from Trump by the dominion software then it can be done by the Republicans as well. and it will ultimately harm Democracy far more than Trump taking a stand on the matter. it's going to allow a new secret society of LibTards replacing the Illuminat (or whatever is close to one in reality) to control our planet the way THEY see more profitable to them and not what is best for us.
you better be careful in what you believe is fact. -
2020-11-15 at 10:36 PM UTCAldra kind of nailed it, but what really happened is even more lame. Graphs are dope visual aids, but you'd only include them in your executive summary if you were going through the trouble of making them, that is if you were making them. But he didn't go through the trouble, because generic relational charts are two clicks away with any modern Open Source Intelligence(OSINT) frameworks.
Notice how the user that goes by the handle of "ConservativeNewsUK" says to the OP how the data looks very impressive and if he would be so kind as to explain what it means. OP replies with something along the lines of "I'll let you know when i figure this thing out". Epic dodge bro. Point is, there is no point in posting a graph as a visual aid if you are unable to help the audience interpret it.
Unless of course you're just trying to look 31337 and are banking on the fact your audience doesn't know what the hell they're looking at either.
I can tell you his "hmm" emoji threat intel claim is BS, because i know how most threat intel outfits collect their data, i don't trust them as far as i can throw them. The long and short of it is: Automated and un-scrutinized, IDK if that's a word, but there you go.
Anyway, wanna be as cool as hackerman "Werise" download MISP today.
