Ok now the method
IF you play a 3 step martingale on a game with a 50-50 chance like craps or baccarat.
Then you will rarely lose all three bets but if after 10 sessions you are in the negative...
Then you increase the base bet, like this you are betting 5-10-20
after ten sessions you are down so you start betting 10-20-40.
If at any time you are up during your session you go back to base betting 5-10-40
This is called the craps matrix paradigm.

Yeah when I was a degenerate gambler I tried to be disciplined too but then one 5 minute streak of carelessness and you lose everything. Drinking does not go well with discipline
