Sick kitty issues

2020-06-29 at 7:38 PM UTCMy friend got a 5 week old cat and it started to not shit or eat/drink. He woke up today and it was having trouble walking and seemed barely conscious so I left to go take him to the vet.
Apparently it is hyperglycemic. Hopefully it doesn't have the beetus and it's just young kitty problems. Anybody ever deal with sick kitties? It's staying at the hospital overnight and possibly longer.
I hope it'll be OK it's a really cute cat. -

ya they have a little metal pad n u put the kittys paws on it and say 'hold real still kitty and press this button' then a small jolt of lightning courses through their body and tells you if they're obese or not
if the kitty is obese you have them eat less carbs and do more yoga
if they are underweight sometimes some pudding is OK but not all the time! -
