I remember when youtube was first created it seemed mostly to do with creepy vlogers like renetto, b0h3m3 and filthywhore and weird people trying to force memes at the surface but then there was like no music or corporate content and there would be videos uploaded daily that were basically done organically and with some creativity and they weren't polished but they weren't derivative. A lot weren't really that interesting but it was exciting because the potential of the medium was there and it was basically an open landscape.
Then it almost immediately after it sucked the billion dollar dick and although the universal applicability is awesome and necessary, it fucking choked and what was once promising, never really seemed to come to fruition is now stale. It's literally the jooz
