Socializing

At what point does a person's psychological state make them want to socialize, but when they do it, they dislike it?

For those of you that have family and friends, and a social circle(no matter how small or weak), do you ever question as to if you actually want to be part of that circle?

What if you cut all ties? Would you be happier?

You need to find people that you actually enjoy hanging out with.

I used to basically have no ties to anyone and it kinda sucks. I’m still a pretty antisocial person though, and I get burnt out easily on socializing.

I was starting to socialize with Facebook but it was because I was feeling compelled to adapt to society, but now most of my accounts were blocked or zucced, so I get mad and blocked most people I was talking and leaved most groups I could, I deactivated the accounts as well. Tired of this bullshit.

    Someone's car gets keyed tonight.

What a curse to have upon us...

What are your thoughts about God? What is His nature?

Also, i actually enjoy socializing, i'm good at it. I can be alone or with people it doesn't really matter. I've heard it called being a metrovert but that sounds kind of gay if you ask me.

Snip...that's not socializing..that's pretty much an undesirable obligation.

I spend the vast majority of my time alone.

I telecommute (work from home) - although I do have to join group video conference calls here and there.
I have no social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatever...).
I live in a city where I didn't know anyone when I moved here.

So essentially, I speak to virtually nobody.

    The only exceptions are:

I post on NIS from time to time.
I occasionally exchange text messages with friends I haven't seen in years, and these conversations last all of a few minutes.
I occasionally go out to family gatherings (although not very often at all - I don't do the whole Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner thing).

So, yeah, I'm used to being alone.

I like it for a whole lot of reasons.

But I also dislike it at the same time because, well, it's lonely.

    It's kind of a paradox.
