Driving in San Francisco this morning. Crisp at 6am and still dark as night.
the entire newer section built in the last 10 years is lit up like vegas almost.
archaic fucking moment. The Embarcadero lighting for Christmas.. not a big thing. People used to look at it every year when it happened.
it's not a thing. it's like "What's the big deal-- have you seen the new downtown.. it's all hella lit up"
its like.. it's like Blade Runner n shit.
I'm waiting for them to put in some Time Square billboard or giant fucking TV ads on the side of the buildings 50 stories high.
