We like to mate with attractive peeople because they are more likely to pass on good survival traits.
Ugly people are less likely to survive and produce QUALITY children, therefor there is an innate repulsion to them for breeding purposes. Ugly genes are not to continue, whereas pretty pretty genes are to continue.

I knew this couple that they were both the most downright ugly people you ever met. They had 2 of the most gorgeous daughters I have ever seen.

Two ugly people could be heterozygous for ugly.....both carrying the recessive pretty gene...
