   obviously got some research to do about which places south of the US is dangerous. anyway it looks to be all english or spanish speaking places so it would be cool to be able 2 communicate.

   The best course I have used is Michel Thomas. It places you as a listener in a classroom of two other language students and a professor. The learning is contextual and conscious memorization is discouraged. No books, no tests, no studying, just mp3 files on your phone.
   
   You will get a good grasp of the basics from the tapes, however it does not so much teach you the language as it gives you a set of subconscious tools to be able to pick up the language quickly.
   
   Then you practice on real live burrito niggers. Get a part time restaurant job in dish or prep. Dish and prep has wall-to-wall beaners.
   
   Some of the mexos will actually be flattered when they find out that one of the master race is really trying to learn their language. You'll pick it up hella quick.
   
   Most torrent sites have Michel Thomas courses.

   It depends, how good is your Spanish now? I wouldn't pay for a program unless you're an absolute beginner.
   
   I highly recommend HelloTalk. It will let you practice Spanish with people who want to learn English. I made a good Chinese friend through it, who I'll be staying with for a while when I go to China.
