Not sure, I'd try to talk them into coming forwards themselves if there weren't extenuating circumstances. If they still didn't and I thought there was a meaningful risk of doing the same thing again I'd probably turn them in, or at least I'd like to think I would though it would be a lot easier not to. I love my family as much as the next guy but their freedom generally would not outweigh the value of another person's life, regardless of my personal attachment to either of the people involved.

when I was last in jail. I was so wacked out from alcohol withdrawals that I honestly thought I commited a hit and run man slaughter, I even thought the news being played in my housing area was specifically meant for me to confess to killing someone. I talked to my attorney about it when he came to visit me, and he just was like you're so full of it Bill Krozbyolo, you had that girl right where you wanted her and you still acted like an asshole. I realized then that I have a serious problem with paranoia. It's gotten better and it will probably be with me my whole life though. But I try to ignore it.

No, and I have had police come to my house more than once looking for family members who had felony warrants. They always want to 'take a quick look inside, to make sure no one is hiding in there'. I always tell them to go get a fucking warrant or else fuck off, and they get really angry. You can see it in the clench of their jaws and their body language tightening up.
