2022-08-02 at 7:13 PM UTCAnother flat tire at lunchtime, different wheel, 2nd in 2 weeks...took it to my double-best-mate-young-fella-me-lad-son-of-a-bitch-used-tire- guy around the corner who fixed it for free because I'm such a good consumer of his used tires...still a good 10,000 miles of tread on it so didn't bother buying a new (used) one.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

Not something I've memorized. I always check them when I buy them though to make sure they are acceptable.
It's also 10,000 before the hydroplaning antics kick in. I always swap them out while they are still legal.
I just got two New (USED) back ones a couple of weeks ago when I got that first flat...the tread was getting low on it anyway so I just bought 2 for the back ...I always swap em out in 2s or sometimes 4s if the wear is equal. -

When tires get under 25% your breaking ability is highly diminished and you will notice your vehicle riding rougher. If your buying used shit anyway you might as well swap them out before 25% left since theyre cheap anyway -

All tires are used as soon as you drive out the tire place...and if you change your tires out at 25% you're pretty retarded.
If the tires are within the manufacturers and the laws recommended range, they are fine. If you are constantly needing to push the envelope on stopping distance...the problem isn't your tires... -

Yes, and again if you change them out at 25% it's pretty retarded...they are designed to offer good service much lower than that...obviously not the same as 100% but you can and should be adjusting your driving accordingly for any road conditions/scenarios.
Leave a safe stopping distance, stick to speed limits, always be aware of your surroundings...your 24% left tires will serve you well. -

You have no idea if they hit something and caused internal damage. Tires can have damage that doesnt show up until a few thousand miles later then youll find out. For a vehicle that would be used around town and no highway use id feel comfortable using used tires but id never run used tires on the highway. My life is worth more than saving a few dollars
