The explanation I heard on NPR yesterday was younger people are more likely to hear Yanny as they can hear higher frequencies and although they are not sure why, they suspect that's what is responsible for the differences...I don't buy it myself and it's funny those saying the primary is yanni, I don't hear yanni at all, I hear laural very clearly and that's it.

Lands End has an unlimited policy on returns...you can wear something for 10yrs and return it.
Costco used to have the same (might still have) I know someone who bought an LCD TV (back when they were a new thing and expensive) for $15,000 and returned it like 10yrs later when they were down to $600. The manager tried to wriggle out of giving him his $15k back but head office overruled him because of their unlimited return policy.
