If a user is happily posting away, and you push a few buttons on your security panel, and the person is still happily posting away, that user has not really been banned. All that really happened is a few buttons got pushed and it was a complete waste of time on the part of the button pusher. What you should say is, the account got banned. But even then, a person isn't a screen name. You can ban a screen name, sure, but you just can't ban certain people, like me. I've never been banned. Many have tried. All have failed miserably.
