I didn't rage quit. I simply no longer wanted a partnership with Metaphysicist. He is way too liberal and much too wishy-washy for me.

There was only one pedophile on Avoyel, just like here. He was a mod there. I got him demodded. The FBI didn't take the site down, muffins did. Muffins was the site creator and Admin. Avoyel had some of the best database dumps around, including a myriad of guides and how-to articles on the art of social engineering, and the protocols and policies of several major telecommunications companies.

That was a screenshot from when Zoklet's server, Sharktech, was getting heavily DDoS'd.

The only people who would frown on my comments in this regard are the spammers themselves, or those who have been complaining about the state of the forum as late.

Lanny thinks he can have his cake and eat it, too. So did zok. I've tried many times to explain to the both of them that there are really only two routes you can go. Either be super strict, enforce reasonable rules to the max, show no favoritism, ban and infract when deserved, or allow everyone to post whatever they want anywhere they want without consequence. And you need to make the choice totally clear in a mission statement posted to the entire board, not just leave everything up in the air so that no one even knows how they should be posting.
You really only have the two choices: effective moderation, or anything goes. It's when you try and merge the two to please everyone that all the drama, problems, issues and conflicts begin. And who wants to put up with that shit for years on end? The Admin doesn't, and neither do many of the users, so why even try? That model/method has already been tested numerous times on now-extinct forums and failed miserably, and yet you still continue to try and push it as a viable possibility? It's just common sense, folks.
You CAN'T have your cake and eat it, too. That is a FACT, supported by a ton of direct evidence and established history, not an opinion. If you're going with option one, provide good and effective and fair moderators to all the forums. Hold them accountable. If you're going for option 2, remove all the rules, notify people they don't have to post on topic, and let them know they will not be punished for spamming and shitposting in any of the forums. It's that simple.

Doubt and suspect all you want, but these are the genuine articles. Test them out all you like and find out for yourself.
