I spent like two hours making wildlife highways because sheep and cows kept falling into the canals. then I spent ages more trying to make the tunnels look nice by cooking stone. All because I was too cowardly to go back into the nether. -

IMO best bet is to build cobblestone walk ways from the base of the ladder, and kill them off with bows and arrows from there. Do you have any bows and arrows at your base? I might try and retrieve our stuff later. I am not going down there to fight them with swords though.

Oh well...
Also there are now chickens on the island! Need to make a chicken farm asap. Also, I can't seem to right click to use anything. -
