This is a large condo half ton garage door. ways about as much as a fucking pickup truck with a flatbed.
there is no manual crank for the fucking thing. it locks and apparent we have no generator for emergencies because there isn't enough in the HMO funding for such.

and yes, we didn't have our power cut all night. I was amazed. but V-town is having a major fire now and the first thing they said was some down power or communication may have started it.
Unpresidented winds. I mean they were showing the weather map that you only see winds like this during a major rain storm.. it's surreal to see these winds clocked over 80mph with it being sunny and unusually hot. they said it's never been recorded before. Mt Diablo had some gauge the weather guys said on tv that snapped off.. they think it clocked over 100mph last night. I didn't hear shit. slept solid for once. I was hoping the power would go out. so it would be pitch dark and maybe take some photos of starlights .. no moon. perfect time for Kr0z types to go on a rapey run

well.. it should be interesting. maybe we can see the sky for once.. if the smoke clears out. we can see more stars when the entire Bay Area goes black.. except San Francisco.
Although I think it will be in blocks. they go out, 30 minutes later your house comes on and the block over from yours (which is like half a square mile or multiple city blocks) will go out and they just exchange time out.
but thats the 2000 rolling blackouts. these might be entire cities until the winds die down. they're not here yet but they will be by tonight I guess.

The outages will be rolled out in the following phases Saturday:

5 p.m.
Colusa, Marin, Mendocino (south), Napa, Sonoma, and Yolo
