    In a sane and rational world Sony would still offer technical service to PS2 owners, so that when you need a new laser they would fix it for you (without tricking you and giving you a refurbished PS2 instead of yours).
    There would still be companies designing CRT TVs, because there will always be people with an interest in that type of technology.

    I don't think that I have tried running them in native mode long enough to see the difference.
    I tried that setting once and was disgusted by all the aliasing, however if connected to a CRT TV it'll probably look perfectly fine so I could try that out sometime.
    
    Something needs to be done, because eventually all the PS2s of the world will die out and then there won't be any way to experience the games as they should be.

    You would think that since PCSX2 has been around for so long that they would have figured out how to run games perfectly fine by now but something holds them back.
    The only game that has ever ran "perfectly" for me in PCSX2 is .Hack, everything else is garbage.
    I wonder what the secret sauce is, because GTA 3 on the PS4 is emulated (it's just the PS2 game being run on the PS4) and it ran really smoothly.

    Get a used PS2 that is compatible with Freemcboot, then you can play pirated games.
    I still have my second PS2 (the laser in my original 2001 ps2 went out on me) from 2006, the slim model.
    Playing a PS2 on a CRT TV is such a comforting feeling, it teleports me back to the years 2000 - 2006.
