I had a friend once who took out a payday type loan at something like 30% APR, and explained it to me that you get the money up front, and you barely even notice the small amount that you pay back every week. Really bugged me.
I once heard a really funny story about some jedis who would sell BMWs to niggers on finance, and when their customer would be unable to make the payments they'd repossess it and sell to the next guy. The thing was they knew that their customers wouldn't be able to pay, and that was part of the plan - they made their money on the deposit.
I wouldn't be able to do something like that, I'd feel guilty. I'd feel exactly zero guilt gassing the people who would though.
thats how loansharks work these days in my area.
they used to just lend out monies but now theyve diversified into selling bikes and cars, and 'financing' their buyers. -
