Some do as a status thing because people have preconceived notions about what people who spend time in jail are like (like wariat). Some thing it's legitimately cool to be hang out with people who got caught and eat shitty food and get no pussy and have the value of your life reduced to your possessions. Some are fucked and talk about it because they feel others will relate to them more because it's omnipresent in their life, even after release they compare things and feel like prison is the "natural state" and "da real world" is just a temporary vacation that makes less sense than prison (which it does). Obviously I'm of the latter category. Man I wish I had mmq as a celly we'd have some laughs at night.

2019-06-29 at 12:40 AM UTC in For all the 30+ year olds out there..I had someone guess my actual age the other day (rare, everyone always guesses younger) and that depressed me. Before I went to prison I looked at least 5 years younger, now I've caught up to my chronological age.
I hang around people younger than me and having sexual relations with anyone my age is kinda gross, a lthough when I was younger I thought it was cool. I'm immature and kinda mad at myself for all the time I wasted. I look like I'm in very good shape for my age but I feel pretty terrible. I got carded I think yesterday or the day before buying cigarettes for someone else. I dunno, I look much less hoodlummy than I did b4 -
