You just push it into the old flange and it's got screw holes/slots to fasten it to the sub floor
If u didn't know, there are 3 And 4 inch closet flanges, if you have a 3 inch , that style might be too restrictive to give a good flush, depending on your crappers design
Also b careful with that brass drain into the wall, they corrode and get fragile
