   Not when you get passed a certain age no...back in the old days of my early 20s I could binge drink and still get up for work the next day no problems...after about age 30 or so it started to take it's toll and required days of recovery.

    The 2nd best doughnut I've had was at Morecambe Bay beach in the depths of winter during a storm, a mobile doughnut van which had a little conveyor you could watch the doughnuts being made on, it started out being squeezed out and dropped onto the conveyor, then went along it into an oil bath, then out and under a sugar "waterfall". Then dropped in a bag at the end still hot.
    
    Eating it with someone special as the gale force winds tore at your soul and the ocean spray filled the air was quite a thing. I remember the doughnut guy saying to us, "Why are you even here today?" and I said "Why are you?".
