I just don't like him, we've never been close. He's very private and totally self-absorbed. I think he has an unhealthy relationship with the internet and I'm trying to understand why he's here. I don't get to see this side of him in real life. Also, I want to figure out if people here are where he gets his drugs. From what I've seen so far, I'm betting yes.
We don't actually provide the drugs, just encouragement to take them.

I did a bachelors degree in psychology.
Carl Jung is kinda mentioned in passing as part of the historical development of modern psychology, but he's given like maybe a couple paragraphs in a psych 101 textbook, and maybe a single multiple choice question on an exam.
I read quite a bit more into Jung simply out of personal interest. I mean, he's kinda batshit crazy, even moreso than Freud, but still kinda fascinating to read.
I have been kinda taking a superficial glance at some of Peterson's scholarly contributions regarding the construction of meaning, and, so far, it looks like it might be right up my alley.
Politically, though, I'm not touching that one with any length of pole. I'd just rather stay out of that.
But if you separate his academic thought from his political thought, I think he has a lot to offer.
You probably need to be more specific about which aspect of Peterson's thought you want to discuss, otherwise this is just going to be one big mess.

Awww, how sweet, it's the Mutual Admiration Society in one big virtual circle jerk… its just another way for all you sycophants & automatons to show your un wavering loyalty and support to each other… content really doesn't matter. 😴🤔
It's not "sycophantic" or "unwavering loyalty" when people actually get a long with each other.
It's kinda fun. You should try it sometime.

Only those who diss me first or who truly deserve it. 👍 Like usual, you and Candy Rein jumped on me first. so, it's only appropriate I defend myself.😄
What perceived slight did you magnify into some kind of grandiose attack on your person?
You take amplifying Internet "fights" to whole new levels.

are we ok, Son? No hard feelings?👍
Umm, yeah, you're the one expressing hard feelings.
I don't care about e-grudges. Maybe for a few hours, but after that it just gets boring and tedious.
You stop insulting me, I stop insulting you, everybody wins.
Although I have to insist you also stop insulting CandyRein as well. She's about the sweetest person on this whole site, so it says a lot about you that you would pick a fight with her, of all people.

People pay money to satisfy their curiosities all the time.
Exactly this.
I legit don't understand why anyone would want to remain ignorant of something as fascinating as where they came from.
Like I said above, I put no stock in my "ethnic heritage," because I agree with HTS that some people put way too much importance onto their ethnic heritage to compensate for any personal achievements (e.g.: pretty much the entire white nationalist movement), but it seems willfully ignorant to just ignore something as important as your ancestral origins simply because it costs a few bucks. It's like $100. That's the cost of a night of partying, or a couple video games (maybe? I have no idea what games cost these days since I rarely play any), etc.
