I don't mind the banners... The name, though... I can kinda see valid reasons against it.
As we descend further and further into rabid SJW/PC culture, it's going to continue to become more and more offensive to people. The day we end up on the SPLC list simply because we have "niggas" in the title, I'm going to REDACTED send some flowers and cookies to the SPLC headquarters myself.
But I do kinda see how some might get the wrong idea from the host name.
Changing a hostname is kind of a big deal though. Then add in how much of a change it would be to our whole ethos and general culture... The theme of going into space is obviously not a serious goal, as can be discerned by the lack of space-travel oriented threads, but the general idea has kinda entered our culture and vocabulary here.

Actually me too... The closest thing I have to "social media" is my interactions with this site. No facebook, twitter, instagram, any of that. Got no use for it really.
But I suppose if I had made a thread especially personally significant, I might see the value of thread-specific notifications.
Now, every-single-new-post notifications? That'd get tiring pretty quick around here, and we don't even have unruly amounts of traffic.

My hedonism this past decade + has fucked a lot of good opportunities. Not to say they won't come around again, it just has to be worked for and stuck at. I had a decent paying job as an equity release advisor early last year but just as I started, I was partying more then all sorts of shit happened. Long story short my car got smashed up and I was unable to commute or get another car at short notice. It was summer so rather than prioritize I just snorted more Charlie and didn't bother looking for another job, getting by through various nefarious means. In hindsight it's a year wasted but I'm starting to make inroads to getting back on track. I drink ocassionally as alcohol is my biggest trigger for Cocaine, and an insatiable lust for filthy likeminded debased women of the lowest order. I've also withdrawn away from anyone who shares the same vices for obvious reasons.
Change, especially if achieved before, is possible and can be done again. Hell I'd love to hear anyone who has a story about bouncing back. It can serve as inspiration for anyone else going through similar shit.
I was a full-fledged heroin addict a few years ago... Like, daily (IV) use, literally nothing and nobody else mattered except getting that next fix.
It was the farthest thing from easy, but I managed to escape all that and leave it behind (it's sometimes surreal to me when I even contemplate how deeply fucked I was at that point in my life).
Seriously, pretty much everything that's occurred in my life since that point has been uphill. Even after having fallen back a few steps in other ways (I actually ended up homeless
after I got clean... among other things that were definitely examples of fucking up in some way)... BUT, the general trajectory has been upwards ever since.
And just like you say... When you have experience to draw upon for past successes, you gain a serious strategic and motivational advantage.
Learning from our mistakes is one of the biggest determinants of character growth and strength building.

Oh damn!
It's nothing. It's stupid.
You know those black shoes? I told you it was stupid.
I bought this black dress to go with those black shoes, which I forgot to pack.
I have six other pairs of shoes - two of which are running shoes, in case you're up for a little game later.
And now I'm doubly screwed because I have two black dresses and no black shoes!
I know what you're thinking - who cares what color shoes she's wearing?
But believe me... Women... Notice!

Holy fuck, this nearly broke my brain (NEVER AGAIN)...
Philosophical conundrums such as that of qualia limit our ability to draw this-vs-that conclusions about colors (if brought up nominally). Now, light vibrations that match nominal affixations can allow for firm footing for building any kind of convincing syllogism. Since crimson is blood's color, it could go that it is worth high appraisal, as it would carry macro-historical footholding to to us hominids. If scholars want artistic conclusions, such strong claims would not satisfy.
And also, no thesaurus... because that would have kinda killed the whole challenge.

Catcalling is harmless. A good bit of things that are considered harassment are harmless. I think a playful ass slap is harmless, but I realize that's subjective. Imo, someone really has to cross a line with numerous unwanted verbal/physical advances.
When it comes to the catcalling stuff, my (relative) position pretty much depends on how extreme those I'm discussing the issue with are. Like, there are some wackjob self-labeled "radical feminists" out there who will actually try to convince people that someone whistling in their presence should be considered a legit sexual offense. Heck, it shouldn't even warrant a ticket, especially since it would be pretty damn hard to prove the whistle even occurred, or that it was directed at anyone in particular, etc, etc. But, on the other hand, I do get why some feminists will argue that there is a bit of a "toxic" culture (I get their idea, but I don't like some of the terms that kind of over-dramatize some of these issues).
So, I have no problem with discussion about a general atmosphere that might be resulting in women more frequently being targeted by even the relatively trivial "harassment" (such as the whistles, etc). But even classifying stuff like that in the same category as like... I dunno, repeated undesired touching, etc... Is stupid and dilutes the severity of the more extreme scenarios.

Would you settle for ~28 words?
The philosophical problem of qualia kinda precludes drawing any comparative conclusions regarding different colors, at least when referred to by name. Now, the exact light wavelength associated with each color label can offer some better footing for building any kind of empirical case in either direction. Since "red" is the color of blood, it could be argued that it is "better", since it would have likely had more evolutionary significance to us as a species. If we want to argue aesthetic value, we will not being able to make much of a case for either color, since it truly is a subjective question at it's very core.

What exactly do you mean by blank slate? Like sandboxed, where you can't fuck up your own computer (i.e. via file input-output operations, for one thing)?
Or do you mean something else?
If you just mean a sandboxed environment, I got you fam...
https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/Start with free-tier.
I use a bunch of these for a bunch of different uses, much of it about using a sandboxed development environment.
But there might be a bit of a learning curve for deploying an instance (although it's not
too bad, I could walk you through it), and perhaps a more substantial learning curve regarding effectively interacting with said instance remotely.
Alternatively, you could create a virtual machine on your own machine using Oracle VM or something like that.

I haven't written a full business plan for the purposes of an actual proposition, but I have definitely looked into it before.
Essentially, it's about demonstrating potential value. There are lots of different elements to a business plan, and which parts you emphasize will depend on the approach to providing value that you end up going with.
You have to demonstrate how you will stand out compared to other currently existing businesses already doing the same thing. In marketing textbooks, a very common trope is: Price, Product, Promotion, and Place.
1. Price: This is about targeting customers based on lower prices. Think of bagged cereal and other "no-name" alternatives to the big guns.
2. Product: This is about providing a higher quality product. This would be the luxury cars (Lexus, Roll's Royce, etc) vs the everyday casual cars (Ford, Toyota, etc).
3. Promotion: This is about how you're getting the word out about your product. So your product might be average in price, and average in product, but you use techniques such as viral marketing and so on to get customers hooked on your brand.
4. Place: This is about how customers access what you're selling. You can differentiate yourself here by offering home-delivery, or something like mailing DVD's to people for rental (i.e. Netflix before it was a streaming media service).
Once you've isolated your fundamental value proposition, then you can fill in the standard business plan sections as needed (startup funding plan, budgeting, etc).
