$1900 dollars, that's pretty sweet. I'm getting tired of living here and prefer to move every few years. It really wouldn't make much of a difference compared to the typical bay area 1 bedroom or studio, I don't need the room, particularly if I store things vertically. In fact, once it's parked long term you could rig up an overhead storage area on the roof.
Hate the thought of driving it all the way here, though, I haven't driven in over 7 years and hated it to begin with. I'd pay someone to drive it all the way to a trailer park or wherever it would be stored long term. A a heavy duty extension cord, or multiple, and a hose would fulfill my meager needs. -

It used to be raucous house parties, then it become house gatherings and drinking games, then it became going to the bars with a bunch of people, then it became going to the bars with one or two people, then it became going to the bar alone, then it became going to a buddy's house, then it became drinking at home alone, then it became hamming on tinychat and drinking with the regulars, which is just too dang convenient for me to do anything else. I'll go to a friends place here and there or have someone over, but for the most part I haven't been much for human interaction outside of work, for the past year or so, so I stick to my online friendships, which believe it or not have grown into some pretty decent friendships with a few of the crew. It's the cringe pot lifestyle and I LIKE IT.
Does it feel like a real life, only seeing people on a screen? Is this what life is supposed to feel like? -

Sure, I'd even go so far as to say you'd be morally remiss if your chose not to rather than collecting the money and donating it towards something useful, although it would be understandable. You can save a lot of 5 year olds (and others) with a billion dollars.
Hmm, I wonder how many starving third world children I could save if I killed you, emptied your accounts and sold your possessions, then used the money to travel there and give direct aid in order to ensure maximum efficiency.
You know you're never going to give more than a small fraction to charity or state programs, which are horribly inefficient. -

I mean, fuck, in most of the bay outside of San Francisco and Oakland, and by god, you know the latter has serious problems, although some large swaths of SF do as well and are downright unpleasant to visit, even dangerous at times, due to niggers, druggies, homeless, stupid fucking street kids, and tourists, there's just nothing interesting around at all. Oh, well, maybe the Downtown Berkeley area as well to some extent, UC if there's anything there that interests you.
Fortunately you're the kind of person that seems to be able to enjoy the little things, where to me they're only a reminder of the pitiful insignificance and inadequacy of our small lives, forms of endless repetition that are continuously occurring throughout the world, largely interchangeable and amounting to nothing, never having the feeling of novelty to begin with. Then there's food, but I've abandoned the most mundane of worldly pleasures. Whenever I've tried a new item of prepared food, a new recipe, it's never been close to satisfying, always a disappointment. I don't even feel hunger like normal people do. I think I have an unusually weak sense of taste and smell, and am anhedonic in general, but there just has to be something better in life. The next step, of course, is to realize that all pleasures are biologically determined, even psychological condition is mediated by neurological, physical, changes. Why are certain video games, or books enjoyable? Anyway, that could drag on too long.
Yeah, the culture is horrendous. Did you know that LA is actually the city with the lowest level of trust among people? It even effects things like trust in the media and government, so it's a general level of societal trust. But there are definitely some things you would be interested if you do some research for the top rated places in LA, places for food and entertainment.

My dad used to take us or bring us back food from there regularly. The flavor and satiation are incredible. I've recommended it to multiple people in the LA area in the past.

That's smart. This would be great for people who wake up feeling like shit or have trouble getting out of bed. The most accurate method would be sleep tracking devices that use a headband to actually measure brain activity, but this is second best. Would be interesting if someone was willing to use it to document the effects of various substances I've recommended for improving or inducing sleep, particularly T-PAIN and low dose bacopa because they seem to have distinct effects. -

Unfortunately it seems 100% helium tanks are harder to get, they started mixing in 20% air due to a global shortage. The Party Time helium tanks were cheap enough and easy to get online, some stores may have had them as well. You could always try party stores IRL, or even wedding stores. Other inert gases are also an option. Nitrogen seems to be the main recommended alternative, which you can get at welding supply stores, maybe some brewing stores. It's really incredibly easy, the other main things you would need are large oven bags, which I already have, bought them for my heat gun vaporizer setup, and tubing, I already have silicone tubing, but I don't know if it's the right size. The first you can easily get from major stores, the second is also readily available from hardware stores or some sections of major stores, the pet supply section, for aquariums. -

Pretty sad that you fucked this up. What if you had woken up brain damaged, trapped inside yourself, on life support/being maintained by others for the rest of your life, lacking the capacity to end your life? It's a very real possibility, if you're going to attempt to end your life do it right, wait until you can do it right.

Try putting a large clear plastic bag over your head, one large enough to not feel stifling, although if you have issues with claustrophobia any bag may feel this way, then secure it by simply twisting the open end until it's snug against your neck. It's comforting in a way, really feels like it would be the best way to go out. I thought, "If you go to sleep you will never awaken. Are you okay with that?" and I wasn't , but only because I felt I hadn't made my peace with death, that some things needed to be settled before that, or that I'd at least need to dwell on it and think about whatever's left to be thought. -
