But weather or not you act upon this is in civil society is a matter of law. Problem is making it illegal and society making it so highly taboo just makes those who seek the taboo more likely to target children. We are literally making children a target of sex predators by making it so highly illegal. The more illegal you make it the more taboo you make it.
Not sure what to do about this as rolling back laws would not effect much change in those who now look at children as sex objects. The media making much less hype around the situation would probably help some. I think the cats out the bag on this one.
