years and years ago we had some fake 50 pound notes, which was quite a lot in them days so they weren't too common. we hit this little drugstore coz it had this really old woman working in there. my pal went in first and got away no problem. i went in stupidly about 5 minutes later and used one and she got a bit suspicious. they didn't have those pens or the black light in those days so to check it what she did was got another 50 out of the till and compared it with the one i gave her. of course the only other 50 in her till was the one my pal had given her 5 minutes before, so she saw they looked the same and handed me my change, lol.
