2019-06-10 at 1:26 PM UTC in Better get preppedthe gist of the OP is right - if/when the situation gets dire enough and the government can no longer provide stability, it won't be two well-defined factions like the US civil war - it'll be hundreds of different groups all scrabbling against each other trying to survive.

The government would declare martial law, dissidents would be round up and bussed to FEMA camps.
The niggers chimping out in the cities would die off from attacking each other and being cleansed by the military/swat teams that would flood the big cities.
People like you would walk into a FEMA bus without hesitation.
Nothing would happen.
Then after things calmed down the government would enact a series of laws that would take away even more of our rights and empower the jews even more.
I don't even have any hope for the 2.7 million gun "super owners", they would be killed off in a matter of days from drones, soldiers of the NWO and derpa's killer robots.
Oh yeah and don't forget about the directed energy weapons.
Shit is so fucked the only way out is to kill yourself and hope the next life is better.
this falls into the same trap that made the US think it could take Afghanistan and Iraq, and what made Saudi Arabia think they could crush Yemen inside 7 days, or even israel in the 2006 war in Lebanon. Technological superiority is a force multiplier, it doesn't win wars or solve problems by itself - for that you need people.
In your scenario, how many of the people working for government agencies like FEMA and the National Guard are the kind of sociopaths that would knowingly put their own people in camps like that? Would they still follow their orders if the government were unable to pay them, or for that matter if the money they were being paid was made worthless?
The sort of social disaster that would require massive chunks of the population to be put in FEMA camps would be the same sort that stops the government from exercising its authority in such a way. -

I'll still have a drink or two, I just don't drink heavy anymore. I kept going on blackout rampages, I guess I stopped like 5 years ago?
also going hard on benzos a while back did a number on my GABA receptors and I don't think they'll ever really return to baseline -

capacitors are the only parts in the microwave that retain power, you should be safe to touch anything else if you pop the caps out first. all of the ones I've got have plastic guards around the terminals too so it's fairly difficult to discharge them by accident.
old crt tvs and monitors though... -

2019-06-09 at 6:54 PM UTC in What is the most severe injury you have endured?I had appendicitis when I was young, it hurt like a bitch but it was so long ago I can't really compare it to anything.
I've never broken a bone which is odd given all the dumb shit I've done over the years.
The worst pain I've ever experienced was dental, when a molar was coming in and pressing against a tooth that I'd cracked, but the reason that was so bad was because it was constant - dunno how it'd compare to something like a gunshot wound which I expect would be all at once -
