ytter_man stole several cars and did a home invasion, got in a cop chase, crashed his car then shot himself in the crashed vehicle. He was a legitimately nice and sweet and talented guy who died in the most badass way I've heard of a totsean die in. -

I really do miss his autistic posts... It's not the same without him. I can only imagine the advice he'd bw giving me now in my current situation.
What's stupid is I seen this old runner on the bridge wearing those retarded looking barefoot five toed shoes he posted once a while back saying how superior they were for one reason or another... And I almost started crying. Little dumb shit like that... I remember stupid shit like that about him. I actually miss that shit too. I loved his reasoning he had for everything.
Anyway, I appreciate it, Casper, that you took the time to investigate and find out for sure so we nolonger had to wonder. It sucks one way... But in another, at least there's closure. At least I can do something small, like make a memorial in the woods, near a harbor, on the other side of the country, in a place he never seen or visited... But someone here called him friend, and loved and cared about him, and I don't want his memory to be forgotten. Two of the world's most renowned historical figures in physics, both having contributed towards major paradigm shifts (Feynman towards QM, and Einstein towards relativity theory), were put off by how unintuitive QM was (and still is).
We have no natural cognitive scaffolding to make sense of things like wave-particle duality, for example. I mean, for thousands of years of human history, things were either one thing or another, never two things simultaneously.
And now we've got string theory and whatnot.
I can only imagine what new theories will follow.
Or maybe humans in general are just all a bunch of P branes, completely unequipped to wrap our primitive Homo sapiens minds around such complex phenomena. -
