TestDisk has the ability to undelete complete files no matter how many times the sectors have been overwritten and no matter how many times it's been formatted. I've already tested it on several devices. You can go back as far as the very first data which was on the drive.
I was talking about shredding, but you've seemed to have missed that. -

I can unlock any protected file or folder, including the system32 folder and all the files in it, with an UNLOCKER. It's not hard. Rootkits will usually use the boot sector and such to attempt to hide themselves, but that's not an issue either if you know what to look for, and I do. No AV scan or boot disk required. I can get rid of any low level rootkit simply using MS-Dos at bootup.
Fine you can unlock system files with an unlocker, IDK never used that software before. But you simply can't get rid of rootkits in the way you propose.

I never raised my voice or my hand to my parents, out of respect and also because it wouldn't do much good, my family are all hair-trigger psychos and really good fighters and I would just get my ass kicked if I tried to fight my parents. I was actually the black sheep of the family, a nerd who wanted to be left alone with my nose in a book. It didn't end up that way, I had to fight fight fight until I learned to not only defend myself, but to actually win. I pretty much got my education on the streets. I am not some intimidating badass, I'm not a surly hothead who looks for a fight, matter of fact I prefer to not even be noticed, and I strive to be underestimated. I actually would rather not fight at all, but if I have to, I will, in a second. There were a couple of times that I have aggressed against people, but it was pretty much business. You can't let people break into your house and steal your stuff without finding them and committing aggravated assault on them in their own bed in the middle of the night. They called me 'batman' around here after that incident I don't need cops, I don't need politicians, I don't need anybody. Drop me into the middle of any major city in the US with nothing, and not only will I survive, I will thrive..
So no, I guess, I haven't fought my dad.
I'm more of a hair-trigger psycho than my dad is, and boy did he feel it. Motherfucker, too bad he didn't die from his injuries.

Rootkits are very easy to detect and remove. You just have to know what to look for and how to challenge it. Rootkits are really no different than any standard virus or trojan, although they do usually operate at a much lower level. As for "the malware adding the registry key as system32", that doesn't make much sense. Do you mean the malware masquerading as a Windows core component, such as a .dll or an .exe? That's still not an issue. There are slight differences between the properties of the genuine file and the doppleganger, and if you know how to tell the difference, it's not hard to kill it and replace it with the original file, even if it's been injected into the core component's process.
There are techniques for privilege escalation on Windows which will allow malware to add things to your system as the system itself. These will be protected even from admins, think about how you can't remove your system32 folder even with admin privilege. Alsoe, rootkits are quite a bit nastier than your average malware and you need special software to detect and remove them. Which usually involves booting up into a special AV scan from CD or USB.
