first, explain what you think the two things {determinism and the minds radioactive nature} have to do with each other, and second, explain if you're aware that a radio receives and amplifies? -

Originally posted by thelittlestnigger The acacia family is one of the more interesting species of plant. They tend to contain interesting alkaloids and amines and the berlandieri may be the most interesting of the bunch. Acacia Berlandieri contains an incredible and diverse range of alkaloids and amines. Notably it contains various amphetamine derivatives, nicotine, mescaline, tryptamines and phenethylamine. Many of these are found separately among various plants but it is claimed that this plant has over 30 different amines alkaloids and phytoestrogens.
Unfortunately theres not, at this time, a method of extracting these in a reasonable quantity.
just grind it up, add some lye and naphtha and evaporate the naphtha. if the plant will get you high the residue can be smoked and you will get high. -

"I have heard this a fair amount recently. I dont think I agree with it but I see it as a practical metaphor on a number of levels. It first implores one to consider what "frequency they tune themselves to. More importantly after that examination they may then consider methods of tuning that frequency. I think some will be lead to wonder what frequencies are trying to tune into them."

Personally, weed tends to shift my mindset and give me new insight into some things. I wouldn't exactly say that it makes me smarter, but it certainly doesn't have a negative impact on intelligence.
Alcohol, benzos, and stims make you stupid. That's no small reason why I don't make a habit of them.
weed makes you stupid. it also makes some people feel smarter. -

free will is an illusion, but so is determinism. -

Originally posted by cerakote never in my life have i experienced a casual counterstrike player that was good at the game, and thats coming from someone who has 1500 hours in cstrike. ive played quake, team fortress, doom, etc and those games are just mechanically different. they dont play the same.
what happens in a very simplistic game, like counterstrike is, is that people grasp the game and quickly learn how to play the game in the most effective way possible and they shit on everyone else. once everyone starts figuring it out, the good players have to either get better or not be the best anymore. and once you're playing the game the most effective way, the only thing that can really improve is in-game strategy or player reaction time, which is why you see the autistic minmaxing of the professional scene where they look through a tiny gap and see a flicker of movement and 1bang a player in the head.
most people are fairly average in reaction times, and improve to a similar general level. a few people have quicker nerves and will excel, but the most important thing in a game of that sort is simply the meta-game. that's what the cutting edge will get you.
where a game like rainbow six is more similar to poker. very few people are capable of even understanding what it means to be 'good at poker'. -

it's a receiver and amplifier. thoughts don't happen in the brain. the nerves are wires. the muscles and glands are speakers and subwoofers respectively. -

counterstrike is a casual game that people take to autistic heights, like league of legends or overwatch or world of warcraft.
it requires neither the mechanical virtuosity of Unreal nor the strategy and tactics of rainbow six.
it's popular because it appeals to the lowest common denominator and honestly call of duty is a far better game than counterstrike.
