Your problem is, you don't know the difference between speech and garbage. In fact, your kind like to call actual speech garbage, and garbage speech.
This isn't entirely on Lanny. He runs this site as a hobby, and as such can't be here 24/7 to babysit. There also lies the issue of not being able to just appoint any one of us as a moderator. To be perfectly honest, nobody here is entirely qualified to moderate this place, myself included. It would take trial, error, and a lot of flak from the trolls before ANY moderation made an effect.
Your backwards, and that's been the actual problem all along. The spammers haven't been the problem, it's your incorrect and self-serving way of reasoning that's been the problem.

Moving things to the proper section would be the only viable solution to both the problem of rampant shitposting, and the problem of infringing upon free speech. It's hard to have real discussion when Spurious and Half Baked are just dumping grounds for every thread. Granted, we'll still have shitposts, but at least it can start being curved into STRUCTURED shitposting. -

Add another moderator or two. Fuck ignoring people, that was never an option until vBulletin anyway. All we need is threads to start getting put in the right sections so the serious posts aren't lost in a seas of bullshit. Close registration for a while, Jeff Hunter had to do it quite often. -

I actually made a dream thread a few months ago that everyone shit all over where, I had a girl that I knew in high school help me out, and I never had a sexual interest in her, not that she wasn't pretty, but she was an older soul than me, basically an old lady in a pretty young girls body.
I wont go into much more detail but basically I fell down and couldn't get back up, but she came and helped me stand up and we walked outside of some building just bullshitting, i guess like we did in school. We walked out of the building and into a parking lot and i was like later… and I felt a lot better in the dream and when I woke up.
And yeah I never had any sexual attraction or romantic feeling toward her but its stuck with me for the last few months.
Being with the women isn't the depressing part, it's the feeling of loss afterwards. Almost like breaking up with someone, but only you knew you were ever in a relationship so there's no real closure ever. -
