And I'm a tiefling warlock who spent most of her life as a librarian, reading books in search of powerful ancient knowledge. During my time in the library, I stumbled across a book - bound in a dark material, so unnaturally dark that it terrified me. That night, as I slept, I had a nightmare about that book and found myself in the lair of the night serpent, Dendar. The book, black as the void, was actually bound in some of her scales, which she had given to the first mortal who had fed her - the first mortal to have a nightmare, as that is what her diet consists of... nightmares. She offered me a deal: power and knowledge, in return for my service. And I agreed. Now, my duty is to go out into the world and be a source of nightmares for her. To see things that give me nightmares, and to be the thing that causes them in others. I'm also guarding the book I found, lest anyone get their hands on it and find themselves experiencing the same terror I had when I awoke within that nightmare and found myself within her lair... UwU

I dunno, I think I even disagree with that. This whole concern with "experience" just goes to highlight the impermanence of it all. What is an experience, except a memory in real time?
Why does the impermanence matter? Literally everything is impermanent. 🤔

I deny that it's worth dedicating a thread to, or worth calling particular attention to the lack of having experienced it. The thread title amounts to a brag about having gotten high, if seen in a certain light. And this is why people hate you.
PS: You don't need to do drugs to understand all the terrible things your brain can make you experience, just a good night's sleep and some dreams.

I've had some mind breaking, soul rending experiences... but like... so what? Like reading this thread's title made me cringe. An experience is just an experience, maaaan. Stop being such a faggot. *sigh*

Why are you even being mean, anyway?

You missed out. It was actually a sweet kind of post about a random homeless dude with a heart of gold.
And hydro, glad you're alive. As always. Gotta stop scaring me like that. 🙃

Perfectionists are probably the personification of "proud, but insecure". They can be proud of what they've accomplished, but they'll always feel like they could have done better, or that they didn't deserve to do as well as they did.
Shit, it's possible to be insecure about feeling proud - if someone gives me a genuine compliment, for example.

I've yet to lose a parent, so I can't imagine how shitty it is. I'm sure it fucking suuucks though; to put it lightly. Sorry, Hamp.

Wow I thought the panzer meet up might have been a hallucination. That was like the highlight of her life. Can you ex offer some information about her? Do you still talk to them? Any way to get in contact with her?
I talk to my ex on FB sometimes, and panzer texted me like 2 weeks ago... which I just realized and makes me feel like kind of an asshole. I keep doing this to him too, my phone is a piece of shit about SMS notificationa. Ugh.
The clowns thing - apparently she showed up wearing a mask to protect her from... UV rays? I think. Anyway, it was a clown mask. Crazy lady in a clown mask, walking around Toronto with those two. Or so I'm told. Maybe it's just all some kind of inside joke. Ha ha.

I get that, yeah. Mostly I was just trolling, because there is something about wanting to "increase your efficiency" that sounds wrong to me. Like, my gut reaction to that sentiment is to give you a pat on the head for being a good slave. You know? 🙃
Like if you work a 9-5, all increased efficiency is gonna do is get you to middle management. You're just going to be doing more work in the same amount of time, and not freeing up anything for yourself.

Also I want to add, it's hilarious how everybody who doesn't like me in this thread likes me on my alt. All my alts are liked until the name '§m£ÂgØL' is attributed to it. Then people have different opinions about the exact same posts.
Would it still be hilarious if it was because most people here think you're a genuinely unlikeable person, and finding out who you are provides further context to your posts and the spirit in which they were likely made? That people would be willing to tolerate your posts if they didn't know such a shitty person was making them? That the problem isn't what you say - it's you, fundamentally, as a human being? Is that... hilarious? It seems pretty sad.
