there doesn't seem to be any info on the Animation sequences shown in the film (just random animation sequences) but I think I remember someone saying the guy who did the films Heavy Metal (1981) may have been the same person. it looks a lot like it too. same style. Almost a Ralph Bakshi kind of vibe.
