about a year ago my insurance company stopped covering gap on uber, doordash, lyft, uber eats, instacart etc.
It was time for renewel and I paid the 6 months. I then decided to double check for winshield coverage and i still had it and said "oh good, i just want to make sure its covered while doing doordash or uber eats. and he goes "uhh we stop gap insurance about a year ago".
never told me this. they don't have to by law (his words) and asked if I got into an accident. I said no but you should of sent me a letter informing me. or even an email. they DID NOT.
also Uber and Doordash never sent me an email or shut down my app platform until I got the gap insurance. You know why, It doesn't effect them. the Burden is on the driver.
