I don't know why, but my mouth opened and words came out, "Wow, you have a kid? That must be terrible!"
I never do this, so you can probably imagine how I was falling over myself to apologize. She was very nice about it. I can't help but wonder if that's the kind of joke that makes young moms hate you or just the opposite. -
