I became a huge coffeegay for a short span at one point.
Now I just use a regular $50 drip coffee maker.
I have a 1 tbsp and 3/4th cup (6 oz) measuring scoops together on a plastic loop, they are both from an old set and I threw the rest away but kept these 2 for coffee+water respectively.
Ratio is 1:1 for each spoon, coffee and water.
Works pretty alright.
I use about the same ratio

I've had that before, camerons makes good coffee. Hawaiian stuff is almost always good too, I prefer that type of profile with my coffee
try Jamaican blue mountain if you haven't before and can get some for a decent price
