Still think it's pretty crazy that you just get hired as a sous chef with little cooking experience. That's usually not how that works, but I'm not knocking ya for it. I hope it works out. That shit will probably be pretty stressful. Usually people in those positions have a passion for cooking and have gone through culinary school or training of some sort. Again, that's cool that the chef is willing to just take a chance with you and train you.

Yes I had another friend that mentioned the same thing to me, but I'm willing to take a chance. and there is a black guy that has very little cooking experience that just started training yesterday.. So we will see how it goes..
I've had other people tell me that culinary school isn't nessecary , but is actually kind of a money waster/ scam for this kind of position. Just like trayvon told me you don't need to go to a trade school to become a welder, you just need to find the right person willing to train you.
This is going to be less money than driving around like an idiot drunk delivering pizza, but I want to at least try something else before I put on a polyester shirt and tuck it in. Just about every job I've had I've felt out of my element at first but then realized it wasn't a big deal.
I'm probably going to fuck up a bunch of shit and get yelled at a lot... but it wouldn't be the first time thats happened to me... at least its better than fucking myself up the ass and reading calvin and hobbes on the can. I turn 29 in less than 2 weeks and If i ever want a chance at getting a Bill Krozbydog stand I better start shaping up now.
The only thing stopping you from reaching your goals is your own mind. In fact I think I'm going to join the navy if this doesn't work out.

2016-06-13 at 9:06 PM UTC in I got a new jobI got hired at a restaurant at a hotel downtown as a sous chef. They open in a week, but they are going to be training me the next several days. I'm kind of excited because the owners/ manager is more put together than the last place I worked, I don't have to drive in traffic, and I don't have to deal with homeless blacks.
The guy that hired me even said I can drink the microbrews as long as I don't act like an ass and show up on time. So I will try it out for awhile, it might not be for me, but I figured Id give it a shot. The place that hired me last weekend was real fucking shitty and I just couldn't do it.
But whats cool is they are going to teach me to make stuff like blackened tilapia, egg crepes, and things like that. The guy that hired me is a chef from the UK that has cooking credentials and seems like a nice guy.
He asked me what jobs I've had where I've cooked, and I told him I've made pizzas and he told me thats not really cooking but that he'd teach me how to. -
2016-06-13 at 8:56 PM UTC in I got a new catI went and donated some money to the animal shelter and I got a new cat today, he is 1 years old and his name is Archer. So far he's been cool, I got him this morning and took him home, we drank some beers and watched hellraiser and fell asleep. They said that he doesn't like new people but he seems happy just to be out of where he was at. And I've been happy as well, I haven't felt so happy as much as I am today in the last couple months. He looks kind of like my old cat but a lot skinnier and younger looking. All the other cats at the humane society were super fat and lazy like they didn't even give a fuck if you wanted to hang with them or not. It's like they were just pigs eating and sleeping their life away , no energy or friendliness.
I went and hung out with him for a little while , he was hiding but I asked him to come see me and he did and was very nice, I told him I'd be back and I looked at a few other cats but wasn't impressed so I went back and saw him again, before telling them I wanted to get him.
He will sleep for like 15-20 minutes then he will wake up and when I'm on the computer he will crawl up behind me and lay on my shoulder and lick my neck.

At my work you're only allowed one free drink per day. I write down on the stock list that I've taken my drink for the day, when really I haven't. Then at the end of the month I take 30+ drinks home with me.
She wasn't really ugly, but she wasn't pretty to me in her older age. Where do you work? -
2016-06-12 at 10:36 PM UTC in little boys in dressesI went to my neighborhood coffee shop around 8 am today, and in front of me was this older lady maybe late thirties to early forties, and she had two little boys with her and they were both wearing pretty princess pink / baby blue/purple dresses/ tootoos. (they were actually boys because I heard her call them by their names, and they were wearing actualy little boy clothes underneath)
the kids didn't seem to mind that they were wearing dresses, they started "acting up" and the mom told one of the kids, if he keeps it up, he can go wait outside.. lol you're going to tell a 3/4 year old to go stand outside while you wait in a 20 minute line or coffee, where creepy bums are hanging? (im almost 29 years old and I fucking hate waiting in that line in the morning the rare occasion I go. It would make anyone antsy as hell, much less a lil boy in a dress.
The boys both pick out freshly baked pastries and there mom tells them they can only have them after dinner... (its fucking 8 in the morning..) and they are whining about why they can't have it now. (completely reasonable to me) and she continues to tell one of her sons if he doesn't be quiet he can go wait outside. (the kids weren't bothering me, the idiot liberal mom was) some little kids at table were laughing at these two. the mom buys the strudels, and her coffee, she puts the coffee and strudels into a paper bag (retard), and hands it to one of the boys, the little boy tries to hold it but drops it and she starts bitching out the toddler for dropping it.
I just don't understand how some people can have their heads so far up their ass to treat toddlers like this. The kids seemed to have a lot more common since than her. I just don't get that kind of parenting. She was just absolutely lazy, liberal , and had no skill at being able to talk to kids.
Why try to feminize little boys from the beginning, let them figure out if thats something they want to do later on in their life. I noticed even the older men were looking at them like "wtf is that bitch doing to those boys?"
I guess I'm just a traditional kind of guy. I just hate when people that don't deserve it are treated like dipshits. I know their not my kids, but If I could I would buy them whatever they wanted because their mom is such a dumbass.
Even the younger black guy I worked with (I don't like most black people but this young guy was actually a genuine person and respectful) mentioned how he wanted to eat something but he had already "had his employee meal" I told him you go ahead and eat whatever you want, if that faggot says anything to you, tell me and I will pay for it. -

I live in austin tx and there are tons of spic fags here, that I will agree are highly annoying, but they are harmless, it's the police and the poor black people that I'm more concerned about. -

that doesn't make sense based on the real world. using explosive breaching would kill more people on the opposite side of the wall than would be saved. plus steel reinforcement would hamper access as well. using explosives to cut the rebar would be disastrous to anything inside the building. most likely they used a cop-modified piece of construction machinery to rip a hole in the wall big enough for cops on foot to get through
I think what aldra is pointing out is that this was some kind of weird event set up by the pigs and to push the gun control agenda. This stuff used to not happen as often 10 years ago. anyways I doubt everyone that was "killed" was a spic. A lot of spics have white and Asian boyfriends. You should know that being the assfucker you are.
