The thing is Doyle is this unique High Desert with desert mountains to the east and the west has a few but it is where the Sierra ends. You basically see where Donner's Pass is.
So it goes from pine forest to desert. I thought in itself that was nature's giant fire break. But the brush is what help carried the fire storm with strong winds.
I love all of the land management (BLM) buying shit up to keep track housing out for recreation and lots zoned from 2.5 acre on up. So it remains single family dwelling.
