the claim is that radical leftism has co-opted this government institution and that it's now used to spread global woke leftism and import Democrat voters into the USA.

Except the only evidence for any of these claims is a bunch of mainstream media and skitzos parroting these talking points endlessly and now this has become the reason. It's really annoying because everyone wants to ignore the real reason and avoid the real issue

$$$ THIS SHIT COSTS A LOT OF MONEY $$$ It was a cost saving measure and all of these government agencies should have never existed in the first place. But nobody is saying that because the presumption is that government agencies are good and do good things and there is nothing wrong is using taxpayer money to fund international foreign development.

15 years ago if you said funding anti terrorism in DA MIDDLE EAST was wrong people on the right would call you traitors for letting down muh allies.

    https://history.state.gov/departmenthistory/people/principalofficers/administrator-economic-cooperation-administration

In the Economic Cooperation Act of 1948 (Apr 3, 1948; 62 Stat. 138), Congress established the Economic Cooperation Administration to administer the European Recovery Program (Marshall Plan). The Administrator was appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Mutual Security Act of Oct 10, 1951 (65 Stat. 378) abolished the ECA and transferred its functions to the Mutual Security Agency, effective Dec 30, 1951.

The reason it's being re-framed as global democrat communism is because if you say it's wrong to pay for the security of other countries than it makes no sense to help Israel. This is a hebrew narrative being parroted by sheep WAKE UP!!!

I never said anything about hate against the hebrews. I just think it's silly that one country has to pay for the security of other countries. Why does questioning this make me a racist?

Did not Rome, Greece, and Mongolia invest in their vassal's and ally's safety and stability to the determent of their enemies?

People have been saying that there are "Legitimate arguments for governments to engage in humanitarian effort around the world". I disagree and posit that any involvement of the government into humanitarian efforts will lead to rot and corruption eventually. It's just a matter of how much can you put up with or manage until it becomes too much.

Governmental humanitarian intervention, however well-intentioned, is inherently flawed and ultimately counterproductive. Centralized bureaucratic structures, by their nature, are susceptible to corruption, inefficiency, and political manipulation, diluting aid's impact and often exacerbating existing problems. While some advocate for governmental involvement in global humanitarian efforts, I contend that such interventions are inherently susceptible to corruption and inefficiency. The fundamental issue lies not in the intention of aid, but in the implementation. Bureaucratic structures, however well-meaning, are often ill-equipped to navigate the complexities of on-the-ground realities. This disconnect creates opportunities for mismanagement, siphoning of resources, and ultimately, a dilution of the aid's intended impact.

Furthermore, the very nature of governmental action introduces political considerations that can compromise the impartiality of humanitarian efforts. Aid can become a tool for advancing foreign policy agendas, creating dependencies, or even inadvertently exacerbating existing conflicts. In essence, the injection of political interests into humanitarian endeavors risks undermining the core principles of neutrality and need-based assistance.

Therefore, while the impulse to alleviate suffering is commendable, a more effective approach may lie in empowering local organizations and fostering grassroots initiatives that are better attuned to the specific needs of a region.

Medicine should be privately funded by the market and developed to be as cheap as possible for everyone and this can only be done with the virtues of RND capitalism and advanced manufacturing along with competition and a free market. These factors combined will lead to universal free medicine

The progress of science is being halted by it's attachment to the slow rotting husk of bureaucracy. Remember "Operation Warp Speed" when the FDA gave manufacturers free reign to develop technology with no oversight or regulations? Yes we all know the vaccine KILLED 6 MILLION and made everyone gay and sterile but 99% of statisticians agree that it generally worked so there you go. Less government = Better Medicine

In fact most of the history of bad medicine was because of government regulations behind bad practices in the first place. As soon as science outpaces the ability of governments or olde Europe empires to crush it is when we get things like eradication of disease and the discovery of germ theory (also a lot of those things are because of the church and NOT government investment)
