   Apparently I built a completely zombie proof base. They didn't even get close to me.
   I did open the door and let a couple inside once the sun came up to see if my automatic shotgun works which is does not.
   How the fuck they work?

   You have to lock the ammo, and make sure they have power running to them (I also had some issues with this - thought they were wired up right but they weren't).
