I haven't owned gas stations for like 20 years now. I just know that the margins on gas are very low. Gas prices are very competitive. But competitive gas prices are a good draw for selling cigarettes and shit. -

During times like these are people really gas shopping and driving from place to place to look at the prices?

They are retarded but what Scron is saying is that some particular gas station should jack up their prices... the customer won't drive 20 minutes to the other side of town for the lowest price, they will just go to the nearest next gas station that has a reasonable market price. It might not even be a 2 minute drive away. That gas station won't "benefit from huge gas price marjins", they will just starve and die because nobody will go there in particular.
Petrol stations are a competitive market. Scron is retarded and thinks saying retarded shit is based because he jumped on board the newest edgy internet kid bandwagon, meme investing reddits. -

2022-03-30 at 2:08 PM UTCThe gas station near my job is 50 cents a gallon more than the gas station by my house...it's always been that way (well not 50c more but at least 20c more during "normal" pricing times).
There's no explanation for this in Houston other than the gas station guy is upping the price himself and it just happens to be in a "wealthy" part of town right by a bunch of $1 mil + homes who probably don't give a shit when filling up. -

I've noticed it to be the opposite here
fuel prices significantly lower in the 'rich' area I used to work in
small hat discounts. -
