After nearly seven years, Arizona will begin to execute death row inmates again — and has purchased the ingredients to make hydrogen cyanide, or HCN, a lethal gas once used by Nazis.

Zyklon B, a powerful insecticide, is a carrier for hydrogen cyanide, which was used to kill jedis at Auschwitz, according to the jedi Virtual Library. HCN, which is extremely poisonous to humans, is the cause of death following the application of Zyklon B.

they'll probably use a concentration that can actually kill people

Why don't they just strap them down securely and then hold a pillow over their face for four minutes?

in all seriousness I don't know why they ever stopped using the guillotine

it's cheap, efficient, relatively painless and a gruesome deterrent, doesn't require munitions or chemical supplies... and as far as machines go there's a lot less that can go wrong compared to guns, an electrical or chemical delivery system
