I ordered it this weekend for store pickup on Friday 15th at the local Bestbuy.
I already have the Quest 1 and Rift S so not sure why I need a Quest 2 as well...still, might as well have the set right?
I'm thinking the resale value of the Quest 1 wont be good what with covid etc...few people will probably want to purchase a headset i've coughed, snotted and jizzed into.

i got the htc vibe when it was new ( like the original consumer version ), haven't kept up with the newer versions of headsets. i havent played mine in years, most of the VR games were really cool, but really limited like they were basically demos. or if they were full featured games it was like a shitty adaptation of an existing first person shooter that would make me motion sick with a quickness ( serious sam, team fort 2 )
is the new stuff higher res? i think the global elites ( are they jedi? i didn't say they're jedi ) are pulling a stunt and have manufactured a "silicon shortage" . new top of the line graphics cards are out of my budget , and the prices trending upward instead of down.
what gpu u use?

New sets are higher res and faster refresh rates. Quest 2 is stand alone if you didn't know...no PC or tethers needed...though you can stream your PC VR games to it over wifi.
I have a RTX3060ti in my pc.
