the wind or prana, Is composed of inertial forces/life forces of all living things and if you don't believe that, you can think of it as frequency. the stimuli around you while you try to meditate can teach you an awful lot about the nature of reality and meditation itself, and they can also just manipulate/interfere. that's why a natural setting is best.

I had an interest in meditation for decades but until researching 'wind illness syndrome' or kundalini syndrome, I never actually practiced much. sit in a large enough field, the naturally occurring fields/waves of things like thunderstorms and dna itself all contribute to the 'random' movement of the breeze. one can easily learn to see the interconnectedness of these things on a conscious level with practice.. these lower frequencies tend to hug the earth with their longer wavelengths.

the frequency following response, brainwave entrainment, principle of contagion/law of attraction, vibrational frequencies, these things give a more scientific example, but it's all the same. all matter and energy seeks a place of rest and order through chaos and will follow the dominant frequency. this is said to be universally around 8 hz, Andrija puharich, etc, the 'psychic' or 'healing' frequency.

it also spirals. another way of meditation is through watching and synchronizing with the movement of shadows, such as a shadow of a water fountain display, to induce spiraling/8hz

speaking of Mexicans, this is partly why crowly was obsesssed with Mexican Indians/natives. they were very much and still are much into meditation, vibrational states, frequencies, and altered states of consciousness, with good reason...

slow hand gestures, mudras, swaying, rocking, praying motion. gnostic trance meditation is also a thing

an army ranger who was also a weird spiritual bastard and went through some weird spiritual/ninja training taught me a basic technique where you, with a guide, visualize you're at the beach, watching the waves, and imagining yourself sorta travelling with them over the curvature and vastness... synchronizing basically.

you'd maybe notice if you ever get paid to play music for a large audience, people synchronize with the musicians, there was a news article about it recently.

anyway, the prana contains a collective consciousness memory and life-force. learning this stuff can be extremely dangerous. it's amazing what you can do when you choose to consciously interact/impose will through imaginining. but of course it's only an example, the goal is a policy of non-interference.

egyptians knew it as heka, the romans demonized it after defeating the egyptians and burning the library in alexandria.

sort of a forbidden type of meditation, but it can help you understand other forms

edit; caffeine switches you to beta, cellphones do as well, long after you quit talking on them, meditation allows you to cycle through frequencies at will, something the elite don't want people doing.

visualizing spirals, and watching your own mind induce them, is only one way to know which frequency range you've hit
