   Excellent response and true to a large extent... however, it wasn't the answer I was looking for... if you take a thumbtack and poke some tiny holes through the resinous mass... air flow can be achieved, hoewver.

   Also, the one-hitters don't burn hot enough to vaporize the resin very well. Use hot knives instead.
