They may have removed it but yes, It did exist. I think this is where people had passed out at the theater. one young woman died from having a heart attack they think was related to the movie (no doubt drugs too). that happened in San Francisco at the North Point Cinema. I worked across the street some years ago. I think it's like a Salvation Army store now. but still looks like a theater.

Ever see the movie The Demon Seed?
The second one "the heretic" is not taking itself serious enough and yeah they are using biofeedback. Its a crap movie.
The third one is from the early 90's. I wasn't expecting much after the second one but this is actually a well written story with a dark atmosphere stalking you throughout the movie and quite a few wtf moments. Its also picking up from the first movie but following the detective instead of the mother and daughter.
The third one is the true sequel imo.
